About us

The Firm is the result of a merger of three established practices — M/s Yeo. Tan, M/s Chew & Yap, and M/s Olivia Chin & Co — with effect from 1 August 2025. These firms represent many years of hard work and steady development before uniting as one, with the shared aim of combining resources and expertise to remain competitive, strengthen the business, and provide cost-effective legal services.

• M/s Yeo. Tan was originally established on 2 July 1997 under the name and style of M/s Yeo. Ainie. Rubiah.
• M/s Chew & Yap was established on 1 June 2009 under the name M/s Yap Chi Wee & Partners, subsequently renamed M/s Chui, Yap & Co. on 1 September 2010, and later changed its name to M/s Chew & Yap on 1 June 2017.
• M/s Olivia Chin & Co. was founded on 8 May 2015 and retained its name until the merger.

As a result of the merger, the Firm now operates from four offices across the Klang Valley — in Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam, Glenmarie, and Klang — with a vision of extending its reach to serve a wider client base within the region and, in time, expanding its services nationwide.
